A combination of qualified personnel, vast experience and effective management makes the foundation for our rapid progress at the Curaçao Towage Company (CTC). We are responsible for all towing, mooring and pilot launching services in the various ports of Curaçao. We are proud to say that we are also the most reliable choice for all in-harbor, coastal and ocean towage, salvage and emergency response jobs, barge and pontoon transportation and other jobs throughout the Caribbean, Central America and the northern coastal regions of South America.
Our level of expertise, powerful and state-of-the-art equipment, reliability and commitment to quality have won us a respectable place in the shortlist of numerous international shipping agencies and their agents.
Dutch Expertise
All CTC nautical employees have diplomas from reputable Dutch nautical schools. This translates into keen Dutch-trained, highly skilled and experienced personnel. We are proud to offer this level of skill in the region. Our customers can rest assured knowing that their vessels are in our capable hands when performing towing, salvage and rescue operations. Apart from our highly-esteemed Dutch nautical standards we also fall under the jurisdiction of the Dutch High Court, which is renowned for its fair and consistent ruling. This provides our international customers with assurance that disputes or any other claims can be addressed professionally and gives them the peace of mind from knowing that when it comes to safety and insurance issues their vessels are well protected. Continuous Upgrading
We are currently growing at a rapid pace. To accommodate this growth we have been investing for some years now in both our human resources and equipment. In 2004 we also re-organized our company to allow for more growth. With a team of approximately 100 personnel, all of whom are certified, we are ready to take on new levels of growth. We are proud of our team and committed to investing in their further training. Continuous improvement of our equipment is also one of our main priorities, and as such, we have recently invested in more than $5 million US to renew our existing tugboats State-of-the-art Equipment
Presently stationed in Willemstad, the capital of Curaçao, we have four powerful modern tugboats named, " MANTA”, ” OLA”, the ASD tug “ LIMA 2”, and the Damen Stan tug 2900 “ JARO 2 “, and in addition Curaçao Towage Company possesses several other tenders. Our International Fleet

The Lima II and the Jaro II are also provided with extensive firefighting equipment and each tug carries a spray system to be utilized in case of an oil spill. All our tugboats are equipped with the latest wireless and satellite communication systems.
